Amanda is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in Pelvic Health, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Gait Analysis. She obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy at Queens University after completing her Bachelors of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She grew up involved in competitive athletics, including gymnastics, track and field and basketball, and draws on the experiences of participating in and coaching high level sports with her patients.
Amanda believes that knowledge is power and is focused on empowering patients with information and understanding throughout their pregnancy, labour, and post partum return to activity. She has experience with a wide range of pelvic, neurological and orthopaedic conditions and uses a holistic assessment and treatment style to instil confidence in patients and their abilities.
Additionally, she has completed training in acupuncture and dry needling, manual therapy, functional range conditioning, running and shoe prescription, as well as vestibular rehabilitation.
In her free time, you can find Amanda out for a run, hiking the nearest mountain, or playing some music.
